The Client

Cars Under 3000 is a family run business in Rayleigh! Their aim is to provide a first-class service at an affordable cost, and we don’t believe anybody does it quite like them.

They understand that buying a used vehicle isn’t always easy. And so, aim to make the process as simple and enjoyable as they possibly can. They don’t just want you to come once and leave with a car you’re satisfied with. They work build a relationship, that brings you back time and time again for all your motoring needs.

The Brief

We were referred to Cars Under 3000 by another company we have achieved great results on. Cars under 3000 came to us looking to build and grow the business through increasing their traffic, enquiries and phone calls through SEO.

We were tasked with not only increasing brand awareness and local visibility in Rayleigh but also increasing visibility across specific car types.

The Solution

Again, with any SEO campaign we always tend to start with keyword research. This gave us the opportunity to understand car under 3000’s core audience in their local area as well as search around specific cars they wanted to optimise for.

We then worked closely with their external web team to implement these optimisation changes whilst constantly testing and tracking results as we did so. One of the key areas we were able to make inroads were in regards to technical seo. As a large website, there were a number of large technical issues we had to consult and find a solution to.

For example, a large proportion of their crawl budget was being used by external queory string pages. We developed a tactic to optimise their Robots.txt file as well as their XML sitemap to optimise for Google’s indexability. This enabled us to combine both technical seo with on-site optimisation to achieve the best results for client against the brief and achieve their full potential.

Having started working with this client in September 2020, we are looking to increase growth with them as partners across other services such as CRO. This will include us consulting on removing friction from the website to increase converting phone calls.

The Results

Across the board, Cars Under 3000’s organic statistics have been astounding. We consider them one of our most successful ongoing strategic implementations.

For example, Cars Under 3000 have seen an astonishing 522.35% increase in organic traffic since we began working with them in September 2020.

They have also seen a monumental increase in their keyword ranking from 248 keywords ranking in August 2020 to an unbelievable 3220 today.

As asked for in the brief, we have also focused our sights on organic phone call conversions. Our strategy has once again paid off, as Cars Under 3000 have seen a 47% increase in organic phone calls, which in turn should see a shift in leads and an increase in conversion rates generated by the company.

We are continuing to work together as both us and Cars Under 3000 grow and we can implement any strategic changes and new services they may require further down the line.
